How EliteAI Works
At its core, EliteAI is engineered to make smarter product recommendations by using a mix of data from Shopify's Product Recommendations API, your upsell flows, as well as proprietary data and algorithms. EliteAI focuses on recommending products that are ideal for your customer, based on other products that are already in the cart.
EliteAI Features
EliteAI comes packed with features designed to optimize your upsell flows and make them more successful:
Fallback: EliteAI will kick in and auto-suggest Upsell Products based on the customer's cart if no Upsell Products would show otherwise. This feature ensures that there are always upsells shown to your customers. Even if you don't have any Upsell Flows set up, or if none of your Upsell Flows was triggered.
SmartBoost: Before displaying an Upsell Flow to your customer, EliteAI swiftly evaluates all products and determines whether any of them have an increased chance for conversion based. If so, it boosts their visibility.
SmartInsert: This feature may contextually insert products into existing Upsell Flows, even if those are not part of the Upsell Flow. It does so only if it believes that those products have a higher likelihood of converting the customer.
SmartExtend: To ensure a rich selection of recommendations, EliteAI automatically extends upsell flows with additional products in case too many products have sold out, or become unavailable in other ways.
SmartMatch: EliteAI will smartly down-rank Upsell Products if they are unavailable in the customer's size - determined based on other product sizes in the cart. This ensures socks, which are sold out in size "38-42" are not shown if the customer has shoes in size "41" in their cart.
You can enable each feature separately or combine them as you please. They are designed to work together beautifully and unless you have specific reasons to deactivate features, we recommend to turn all of them on.

Some features can introduce products that you have not selected in your Upsell Flows.
