Integration: SparkLayer B2B & Wholesale

Configure EliteCart to automatically hide for B2B customers, allowing SparkLayer's specialized wholesale features to take over.

Why add this?

B2B customers need specialized features like custom pricing, bulk ordering, and payment terms. SparkLayer provides a dedicated B2B cart experience while EliteCart continues serving your retail customers, giving you the best of both worlds.

Prerequisites

• SparkLayer B2B account and app installed

• EliteCart Professional account

• B2B customers tagged with "B2B" in Shopify

Steps

1. Tag your B2B customers (as required by Sparklayer)

1. In Shopify Admin, go to Customers

2. Select your b2b customers

3. Add tag: b2b

2. Configure EliteCart

1. Go to Cart Designer → Advanced

2. Find "Disable cart for customer tag"

3. Enter: b2b

4. Save changes

3. How it works

• Retail customers see EliteCart as normal

• B2B customers (tagged "b2b") see SparkLayer cart instead, when they are logged in.

• No Custom HTML needed - uses tag-based switching

• EliteCart automatically disables for tagged customers

Test

1. Log in as a B2B customer (with "B2B" tag)

2. Add products to cart

3. Verify SparkLayer cart appears (not EliteCart)

4. Log out and verify EliteCart returns for guests
